Day Twenty six  -  Seek Him
Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Finding God is what faith is all about.  If you seek Him you will find Him.  The promise does not apply to a half-hearted effort.  It requires a desire that is greater than any other desire in our life.  The reward is fellowship with the God who created us.
Martin Handford created a geeky looking character that has fascinated children all over the world.  More than 40 million “Where’s Waldo” books have been sold in twenty-eight countries.   In these books,  there is a crowd scene with hundreds of characters,  but only one with the right hair,  face and clothes.  The object is to find this “hero” among all the other characters.  In the Waldo books,  there are many pages with Waldo.  In some he is easy to find.  In others it is a challenge when most of the crowd is wearing the same type of clothes.  It is important to know that Waldo is on every page.  You can find him if you search for him.
We have many pages in our books.  Some pages have joy,  some peace, some simplicity.  Other pages are full of turmoil and bleakness.   We don’t always see God on every page,  but He is there.   From the beginning pages of the Bible,  it has been apparent that God desires to be with man.  He walked with man in the garden.  God gave to Israel a tabernacle and a temple where He could meet with them.  Jesus is called Emmanuel,  “God with us.”  In the final heaven,  in the last pages of the Bible we read,   “And God Himself shall be with them”  (Revelation 21:3).

He desires us to find Him on every page of our lives.  In those days when our lives are complicated and in turmoil,  we may have to seek Him in prayer,  but He has promised,

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

An Exercise to increase my Faith  -  Spend time today seeking God.  If this is a normal day,  He may be easy to find,  but if it is a day filled with turmoil,  you may have to seek for Him with all your heart.  He promises, if we do, that we will find Him.
