Day Thirty Six - Express your Appreciation to God

Day Thirty Six  -  Express your Appreciation to God
Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

                A saved man loves the one who died for him.  It is his greatest passion.  We are to love the Lord our God with all of our heart,  soul, and mind.  We don’t have a difficult time talking about the ones we love.  We can talk about our kids,  or our spouse because we appreciate them for who they are and for what they do.
                The same is true of God.  We don’t always have an opportunity to share the gospel,  but the ones we meet should see in us a love for God.  We ought to talk to people about how much we appreciate what He has done.  We should talk of His goodness and His majesty.

Psalm 119:27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
Psalm 145:11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

                Men often talk about those that are great in achievements.  They talk about athletes,  and football and baseball teams.  They talk about great companies and great products.  It is natural to talk about those people and things that excel.  Some will talk for hours about the features of a cell phone.
                Out God has done all things well.  He has created the world.  Every great thing that is in this universe is a product of a great God.  His greatness should compel us  to constantly express our appreciation for Him and for His power and wondrous works.

An exercise to increase our faith:  Talk about God’s goodness and express your appreciation to those around you.  Share with them how much you love what God has done in your life and in your family.  It is not about things.  It is about a person who is the most important part of your life.  Let your lips talk about His goodness.

Psalm 107:8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
